Brive-la-Gaillarde, more commonly known as Brive, is the second leading economic centre in Limousin, after Limoges, thanks to its recognised know-how in the agri-food industry, electronics, transportation and logistics. Like Bledina and Thalès, a number of other major groups have set up subsidiaries there. Excellent quality of life and the beauty of the historic monuments concentrated around the splendid Collegiate Church Saint-Martin further add to the city’s appeal.
